After years of slaving in the IT/tech/software world I decided to quit work for a while and go back to school to finish up my degree. I’m currently a junior at Columbia. I’m studying computer science with a focus on AI, natural language processing, information retrieval, and machine learning.
Every chance I get I convince my professors to let me do projects in Ruby. I’m also responsible for getting the CS lab (known as the CLIC) to install Ruby on all of the systems.
In my previous life I worked as a programmer with C# and VB.NET.
